With MainTutor, we want to make it easier for you to arrive in the hall of residence and get to know your neighbors and roommates.
Our tutors are there to listen to your concerns and help you with small and big questions about life in the hall of residence. We also offer a space to get creative in our workshops at Riedberg! Finally, we always have workshops and cultural activities on our program!
We are a team of international and German students who have been living in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Rüsselsheim and Geisenheim for some time and would like to share our experiences. On behalf of the Student Services Association, we are here to answer your questions and help you if you encounter any difficulties.
We also regularly organise small and large events in the hall of residence.
But we don't rent out rooms at the residence and have no influence on the allocation process. In such case you should contact the Accommodations Department►

The workshops and events
MainTutor also offers regular workshops to help you improve your skills for student life. With us, you can sew little helpers for your studies or learn how to whip up a delicious meal for you and your guests in our cooking sessions. Bike checks and occasional excursions are also part of our programme!
Sewing studio – Your space for creative textile projects
Whether you want to save your favourite jeans, mend a hole or redesign a unique garment from scratch, our sewing studio offers the perfect environment for you. Equipped with sewing machines, overlock machines and everything else you need for your project, here you can give free rein to your creativity.
Our colleague Arien Soltani is on hand to offer advice and assistance – whether you're taking your first steps on the sewing machine or already want to realise your own designs.
We also offer regular workshops on various sewing techniques and creative projects.

Repair shop – screwing, tinkering, repairing
Is your bike not riding the way you want it to? Could your chair use a stable connection? Or do you have a craft project that requires tools and space? Our repair workshop is just the place for that. Here you will not only find the necessary equipment, but also support from our employee Nikola Oljaca, who will help you with tips and tricks. Whether it's small repairs or larger tinkering projects – together we'll get things back in working order!
