Social and Financial Advisory Service

Not everything goes as planned during your studies. Whenever this affects your personal or financial situation, the Social and Financial Advisory Service is there to provide reliable and competent support. We offer guidance and clarification on a wide range of issues, not all of which, but quite often, are related to money.  For example:

  • Social benefits, scholarships and loans
  • Working and social security
  • Labour and residence law
  • Studying with child(ren)
  • Studying with impairments
  • Studying internationally.

We are also contact persons for the MainSWerk student loan and the Emergency Aid Fund.

Counselling is confidential, independent and unbiased. It can take place in person, by telephone or by video. An appointment is not necessary, but recommended.
