- The semester ticket for the Winter semester 2024/25 must not have been accessed or downloaded.

Students in Frankfurt am Main automatically pay a contribution for the AStA semester ticket with their semester fee. From summer semester 2024, this will be a digital Deutschlandticket. Further information on the semester ticket and its area of validity can be found on Goethe University AStA semesterticket►
Students at Goethe University can apply for a refund of the AStA semester ticket fee from the Hardship Fund Office of the Studierendenwerk Frankfurt am Main if there are certain reasons. With the refund the authorisation to use the AStA semester ticket expires and the QR code becomes invalid. Exception: Landesticket Hessen: The AStA semester ticket must not have been downloaded.

The hardship fund administration is led by the Studierendenwerk Frankfurt am Main on behalf of the Goethe University AStA. The hardship fund office will answer any questions you may have about the refund.
