Cashless payment
As part of our modernisation programme, we have expanded the use of image-recognition payment terminals across our facilities; cash payments will no longer be technically possible. The confectionery and drinks vending machines operated by the Studierendenwerk Frankfurt am Main are also cashless. Cashless payment is the only option at these outlets:
Why are we deciding to do this?
We are no longer just talking about a shortage of skilled workers, but about a general labour shortage. To ensure we can continue to provide our services reliably in the future, we make targeted use of modern technology. This allows us to free up valuable staff resources and deploy our employees where they are most needed: with you, our guests.
You can pay quickly and easily using all standard cashless payment methods:
- debit or credit cards, as well as Google Pay or Apple Pay
- university cards
- the MensaCard, the prepaid card issued by the Studierendenwerk frankfurt am Main
